Bio:
This is perhaps my favourite story to tell! I began my university career pursuing Pharmacy. Growing up in a tiny town in Southern Saskatchewan, I didn’t even realize that doing culinary arts for a living was a possibility.
After taking a basic beginner cake class at a local craft store, and posting photos of my work on social media, I began taking order after order from my dorm room. This hobby quickly morphed from a stress relief, to a supplemental income to pay for university classes, and eventually, inspired me to change my path to obtain a degree in Business Management.
With those basic beginner cake classes being discontinued, I made it my goal to teach workshops and pass on what I love, to others. Because in all honesty, that one cake class changed my life path into a ‘sweeter’ direction!
